The performance by Peter Gabriel of That'll Do at Westminster Abbey in honour of Sir Terry Wogan (it was one of his favourite songs) took me by surprise and pulled on the heart strings and quite frankly, I cannot stop listening to it. I am sure I cannot be the only one to feel this way.

So wouldn't it be wonderful - and wholly appropriate - if this recording became the official Children In Need single for 2016, in memory of our Tel. Far better than yet another teenybopper or boy band recording yet another cover.

The original recording of the song has been hard to obtain up until to now, unavailable as a download and only on the Babe: Pig In The City soundtrack which sells for around £15 on auction sites and Amazon Marketplace.

I think this recording actually surpasses the original and is sure to be popular and raise lots of money for CIN if released. Truth be told, the complete ceremony at Westminster Abbey could be released as an album to raise even more but, for the purposes of this petition, let's stick to the Peter Gabriel performance. For now, um, well, that'll do...
