The University Principal, Professor Pete Downes, will take part in a Question Time event for students on Wednesday, 18th March.

The questions will however be pre-approved by the debating union.

This University, particularly Humanities, is facing staff cuts and restructuring which the students feel have not been properly explained or justified. We ask that Pete Downes be unable to hide behind the shield of pre-approved questions and that this official take questions from the floor.

Whilst the education of ongoing students is being threatened it is the least he could do.
