Dear
Arnie
We
are very sad that you are leaving the college after seventeen years working as
our security guard at CBAT.
Throughout
those seventeen years you have kept the students and staff safe. Your
commitment and care you demonstrated to our students will be difficult to
replicate and will never be forgotten. You showed great understanding and
sympathy of the difficulties many of our students face. This understanding
reflected in the way that you dealt with them. You resolved many with difficult
situations, and at times put your personal safety at risk to protect our
students.
We
are angered at the way the college has rewarded your service and loyalty to the
college and students. They should have done a lot not more to ensure that you
remained working at the college. Their lack of support for you says a lot more
about the detached management we have at CCCG then it does about your lengthy
service at the college.
Whatever
path you decide to take we are sure you will be as well loved by those you work
with in the future, as you are here.
We
wish you all the best success for the future – students and staff will miss
you.
Always the nicest guy Arnie. Always a champion and protector to our special needs students. Sorely missed, a sad state of affairs.
