I am desolate to be losing my connection with my comrades in Europe. Please know that I and so many of my countrymen were wedded to the EU's values of European cooperation for peace, and treasured our membership of the EU for that reason. Know too that many of us are ashamed of the way you and your representatives have been treated by our so-called leaders. Thank you for your friendship, and please keep our seat at the table at one side, ready for us. We will be back.

I regret our right wing leaders pushed for UK to leave Europe. I wish to rejoin as soon as possible for the freedom to live and work in Europe for me and my children.

I am European and always will be. I am so so sorry that we have Brexit. I hope we return as a member of the EU for everyone, especially our children's sake.
