I remember the pride and hope I felt as a mid 20 year old when we joined. Now I’m a very sad 71 year old.

Many of us voted to remain and it is a deep regret that we are forced into this position of leaving the EU and losing the many advantages that brings. I am also horrified at the appalling and frankly ignorant attitude of the current government towards the European parliament evidencing the lack of awareness and understanding and showing such discourtesy . I apologise for the behaviour of this current government and I hope that many understand that it is not the view of all in the UK in fact many more now support remaining in the EU. Our voice is ignored but we shall not be silenced

The UK leaving the EU is the most ignorant and pig headed, masochistic harm a government could carry out. I'm sorry for all the difficult and unprofessional behaviour you have had to deal with in these negotiations.
