Devastated that we have lost our EU membership, partly through ignorance on the part of large swathes of our population, misled by the obdurate ideologists who are now on control of this unfortunate country.

Leaving EU makes me very sad. I am ashamed to be British now, it is a pitiful nation. The only optimism I hold is for my grandchildren’s nation , whether it is just England or UK, will be able to rejoin the peaceable EU.

Thank you for all you’ve achieved through the years since we first joined the EU. The benefits have been vast - too numerous to mention. So very, very sad to be leaving and finding it so hard to understand why some in our country actually voted for this.

It is with profound sadness that we see the UK losing so many benefits that we developed together as partners in the EU. One day we will return. Huge numbers of British citizens are still EU members in our hearts. Thank you for what we achieved together to make Europe a more peaceful, successful, co-operative part of the world. We have all benefited.
