I have never seen a conflict between being a U.K. passport holder and being European. Unfortunately our misguided government encouraged people to vote on creating differences rather than the things that should unite us.

I am so saddened by us leaving a Union that was born out of a desire to build a lasting peace from the ashes of two devasting wars. I am certain we will return as brexit was built on lies and is the politics of regression. When we return it will be with renewed engagement and vigour. Wishing our european family love and peace in the meantime and please look after our star.
