Thank you for the patience you have shown to our government which doesn't deserve it. I'm deeply ashamed of what it is doing. I'm sure you know that the majority of the country wants to remain but we are at the mercy of incompetent scoundrels.

I am enormously sad to be leaving the EU. It’s a total tragedy. Better together. ❤️

Very sad to be leaving a union that has kept us at peace for all these years.

The most recent opinion polls indicate that if we held a referendum now the result would be 47% remain and 40% leave (WhatuThink28 Nov) and that 51% now think leaving was the wrong decision (Nov 16YouGov). Please note that most of us wanted to stay, and many of us are still passionate believers in the European project. I am desperately sorry to leave and will continue to work to return.

Thank you so much EU for everything you have done for the UK and especially Cornwall, where I live. I hope we will rejoin you one day.

Sad to no longer be part of the greatest peace time collaboration between nations in human history but still a passionate believer in the European project, good luck !

My heart will always be in Europe and I will always cherish the values of peace and unity amongst many others. This is not my UK government. Brexit would have never ever been my choice. I have not left

So, so many people and especially young educated ones really regret Brexit. They appreciate the opportunities and diversity that Europe offers. Don't paint us all by the same brush as those xenophobic Little Englanders.

I am so sad to lose my European citizenship among so many other special things that the EU gave us
