Thaidi's Place Cat Sitting - Your Right to Choose
We at Thaidi's Place are the only home boarding establishment in Manchester for cats. We love and care for your pet cats when you go away, providing them with a home from home. Cats that guest here with us can eat and sleep with home comforts, and play with our own eleven cats, since they aren't restricted to pens. We realise that this is not what everyone wants for their cats, so we do refer people to catteries if that is their preference. But for those owners who want their cats to socialise, we offer them their own little holiday while you are away.
As our popularity has grown we have started to find ourselves restricted by regulations for home boarding. Those regulations say we cannot board cats from more than one household at a time, in addition to our own. This limits how many cats we can look after, forcing customers to put their cats into catteries when they really don't want to do.
If we were home boarding dogs rather than cats, the regulations say we would be able to accept dogs from multiple households with the written consent of the owners. We want our cat owning customers to have the same right to choose where they leave their pets. This can only be done if the wording on the regulations is changed.
Please sign our petition to help persuade Manchester City Council to offer the same choice for cat owners that they do for dog owners. And if you can ask everyone else you know to sign too, that would be wonderful.

Such lovely people and a wonderful service. Have been looking after my daughter's cats whilst she is unwell and that is where we want them to be. As long as the owners are aware and sign to say they're happy I really can't see the problem.... Or the difference between dogs and cats in this regard.
This is a fantastic service that is offered, and I do not see any reasonable explanation why it is an issue that cats mix with other cats from different households as all are proven to be up to date with vaccinations and all owners consent to the cats mixing with other cat.
Thaidi's Place offer a genuinely fantastic cat boarding service like no other. These illogical regulations are set to smother this small business, denying the Manchester area a wonderful service, a small business the right to truly thrive and my cats somewhere truly safe and comfortable to stay. Tell me where the logic is in that?

I wouldnt want my cats anywhere else. They were very happy socialising with the other cats and much less srressed than when they have stayed in a penned environment. I believe it is my right to choose what environment my cats stay in when i leave them.

my cats always go here and I wouldn't have it any other way. I hated the cattery and I don't think they do any good for my cats. being with a family and in a house safe with loving people makes so much difference . They are always well looked after and happy I don't want that taken away from me or them.
