TfW's Gelynis Farm Road Bridge is a Carbuncle and Must Be Heard at Planning Committee

This will destroy an historic and beautiful natural environment.

Totally against this.

There is no point having the Environment Wales (2016) Act, if this kind of destruction is allowed to take place.

This needs wider consideration and consultation with members of the community. The current right of way is really widely used and connects people efficiently between Tongwynlais and Morgantown without the use of cars.

The proposed bridge is to Farr away from the original crossing! It will have huge impact ups in the walk ways and access to the taff trail! It really needs to be reconsidered!

We understand train frequency is set to increase (a good thing if the increase displaces car journeys and gives local people better options) and that this means the level crossing is no longer viable. However, transparency is important, and local people should be able to scrutinise TfW's claim that there was no alternative to the size and location of the proposed bridge, and should have sight of all other planning applications that may have shaped the decision.

No more infrastructure. This is unnecessary.

Travelling by bike from Morganstown to Gwaelod y Garth with young children is already dangerous enough with too much traffic on the main road, and lorries to the quarry. This will increase traffic & polution on an overcrowded road

Until real consultation and social partnerships with residents of Cardiff become part of 'development', these ecological and heritage disasters will proliferate. How come it can even sidestep the Council's Members' Planning Committee?

This is part of a really lovely walk

The destruction of the natural environment in my area has been astonishing callous and should never have been given permission in the first place please stop this destruction!
