This is a petition to ammend the Texas Real Estate License Act, Chapter 1101, Texas Occupations Code and Chapter 535 of the Commission\'s Rules. Under current law a person receiving a referral fee must hold a real estate license. We would like the Act ammended to allow a referral fee to be collected by timeshare owners who refer friends and family members to their timeshare program.
