This is a violent and terrible offense. I am a survivor and 3 of my children have been raped as well. There should be no statute of limitations on this crime. This causes severe emotional and physical damage to th victims. Sometimes it may take years for the victim to com forward sue to being threatened, fear of more abuse, retaliation, losing family, and many many other reasons. This crime should have severe punishment and the victim should have the right to be heard.

I believe every victim has a right no matter the time. I also believe the adult that turns their head should be prosecuted also to the full extent of the law.
