Save this historical film landmark. If this film was important enough to be preserved in the Film Library of Congress than its original location is enough to save before it’s too late.
Please get this going! A marker MUST be placed, the filming location will be lost to land development otherwise.
The movie is a great innovator in the imaginations of many! Keep this place a designation so many can acknowledge its significance of the American film
Absolutely, this is a pilgrimage for many people across the US. Designating this as the historic place that it is, officially, would keep this holy land protected before another apartment complex gets put in. It's next to the highway, let Texas land stay Texas. The grass, the natural hills, and the site of a movie that stands as one of the most influential horror movies ever.
As a longtime "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre" Film fan, and as a lifetime Horror Fan, I believe adamantly,. Quick Hill Road, most notably and historically known in "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre" Film, should not only remain untouched, but protected, as a State Historical Landmark. My Grandparents lived across from Quick Hill years ago. Our family is obsessed with the Texas Chainsaw movies! It definitely needs to be recognized!
