The UMass Administration has passed a policy which prevents students from Flyering, Advertising, Surveying and Soliciting in dorms.
This includes:
- Requesting contributions, or sales, or
demonstrations that result in sales
- Distributing advertising or other material
- Collecting donations for charity or organizations
- Compiling data for surveys, programs or other
purposes
- Recruitment of members for an organization
- Requesting support for an organization or cause
- Door-to-door campaigning for elections
The purpose of this petition is to create a unified voice among RSO's which can be presented to the administration.
Please sign your name and write your position in your RSO.
Pass the email on to other members of your RSO and other organizations.
