Absolutely agree. This should be applied to all levels! Im level 1 and it is my nursing foundation that is being jeopardized.

I couldn't agree more and wanted to do something about it. This is unjust to all of Charity's current and future students to make EVERYONE suffer for the mistake/s made by one/some. Make the person(s) suffer for their own wrongdoings. I understand stepping up the exam security measures but this is hindering the growth, development and , education of Charity's future RNs. We all know that nursing school in itself is stressful enough as it is. This increases our stress and anxiety levels which puts us at risk for multiple nursing dx. This action violates quite a few ethical principles in my opinion such as beneficence, fidelity, and justice.
Thanks to whom ever took the iniative to start this petition on behalf of all of CSN students.

It’s wrong to hinder our learning in the name of exam security. Cheating happens in small amount at every single school unfortunately, but which of those schools resort to such extreme measures that punish all students?

Even if we are unable to see the test questions. Knowing our grades and rationales will help us understand and become competent nurses. This should not be an issue as we are never to see the actual test question ever again.

If the program is truly concerned about creating the best nurses it can, then it should prioritize every opportunity for learning. Providing an exam review, especially after everyone has already taken the exam, is an exceptional way for students to understand how they need to adjust their critical thinking. I do not understand the drawbacks of this type of review, especially if, as some of our teachers have stated, "no one will ever see these questions again." Our instructors are constantly encouraging us to learn from our mistakes, but as far as testing goes, we are being completely denied this opportunity. Last semester, after receiving low Bs on the first test in all my courses, I was able to look at the rationales and immediately understand why I was missing questions. Subsequently I was able to achieve As in 2 of my classes and, more importantly, use the information to adjust my thinking in the clinical setting. I am very disappointed that the administration chose to address the transgressions of a very small number of students in a manner that impedes the learning of the rest of the student body.

I full agree to having our test review given back to us. For those few that we careless and dishonest should not result in punishment for the rest of us that take nursing as a serious life or death matter. Knowing our mistakes on test can ultimately be the difference !!!

I agree that reviewing the rationale on questions I missed helps me understand why that wasn’t the correct answer. As previously stated by other students I don’t believe we should be punished for other people’s mistakes.

Please give us this opportunity back for those that did not deserve to be punished. We cannot learn from our mistakes that we made on the test to not be able to make the same mistake in the field later on. Please reconsider this change so we can perform safe practice for our patients.

I wholeheartedly agree that we should be able to see rationales. It does not matter whether questions will be repeated or not, patients lives will be in our hands, so it is vital to know where we went wrong. Thank you.
