Thankfully my side of ML is not impacted by this, but if my child were attending Fulton, I would not feel comfortable with her walking along that path. It is somewhat isolated and very easy access for child predators. My child is at LKMS and I still wouldn’t feel comfortable with her walking on that path.

The path is not even done yet and school is three weeks away. Kids who will walk independently need time to practice the route and get used to it. Plus as working parents, it greatly impacts us as we won’t get to work even later as we have to walk the mile back home.

Using the bus is better for everyone, let’s make it happen!

There already a bus service that we have been riding. It does not cost more for us to be on that bus. It’s too dangerous for elementary students to walk.

With FES being above capacity, the pick up/drop line for car riders is going to be exponentially increased.

There really should not be walkers for any elementary school kids, they are too young.
