This is a petition by Tesla Model 3 reservation holders and other potential buyers/owners of the Model 3.
We have noticed there is no Aux jack for outboard music devices (like Ipods or other kinds of digital audio players, CD players, or other external portable devices) implemented in the Model 3. This is a standard feature in virtually every other modern car, is something we use, and we would like it very much if Tesla would add one to the Model 3.

Seeing all this momentum is honestly wild because I really just wanted to plug in my old music player and now it feels like a whole movement. I never thought people would actually care this much about a simple port but I guess everyone has that one old playlist they just cannot let go of.

These things make a real difference. I'm not buying a new Iphone because they have lost the Aux in and Samsung supports it. I want as little RF signal in the car as possible.
I’m seriously considering cancelling my reservation with no Sirius XM aside from data hog streaming and then no Aux In jack to use my portable XM. All those smart engineers and they left out the Aux port?
Every car should have an aux jack! I don't want other people connecting their phones via Bluetooth to my car just to play me a song they found on YouTube. Getting delivery of my car today and not having this is already driving me crazy.
An aux jack provides component expandability, No matter what becomes obsolete in the future (Bluetooth, I'm looking at you!) a wire will still make an audio connection, That and the fact that a jack is just a plughole into electronics that MUST exist, and not electronics in and of itself, makes the addition extremely low cost, given the functionality that it adds.
Would like the auxiliary stereo port to connect my high-end DAC that connects to the iPhone through a digital out lightning connector at the phone end and standard mini plug stereo at the car. My Prius offers such a connection.

I have way too many CDs (mostly original/ personal performances) and no time to turn them all into different format!! I miss listening to these CDs in the car.
