I appreciate Tesla for so many reasons, innovation and direct to consumer among others, it's a shame special interests want to stiffle this because they want to stick with the norm for their benefit. I do however feel dissapointment that the government offers $7500 incentives for these vehicles, it upsets me that my tax dollars supplement wealthy people that normally can already afford a car of this expense where most people cannot.

This attempt to clip competition is blatant and shameful! A threat to free enterprise.

As an avid supporter of environmental conservationism, and as someone who believes in the freedom to do business in a free trade society, I feel it is imperative to support companies like Tesla who provide a service both to help reduce our carbon footprint and minimize middle-man mark up allowing the citizens of Minnesota to have the option to purchase a Tesla if they so choose.

This is the same as agriculture and the drug industry not wanting vegans. There is NO money in healthy people.
Fight and ROCK ON! You have my vote!

This is free enterprise, and if people did not feel comfortable with the sale process, they would not buy the cars. Tesla's sales model works well for the consumer.

MADA staff: Tesla has every right to distribute and service their products any way they wish. If this business model turns out not to be effective, customers have every right to vote with their pocketbooks (don't buy their cars).
I, however, am betting that these manufacturer owned stores will be highly effective, and that MADA is simply trying to protect the value of their dealerships - if you do this, it will create a backlash against you!!
