I wish our mail carrier would bring our boxes and packages to the house like Terry did. Our mail carrier drops them on the ground by the mailbox, rubber bands larger envelopes to outside of the box Leaving them to be damaged or stolen or get soaked in the rain!

It is difficult for me to comprahend how a longtime employee can be terminated over an accident that based on information I have places some questions on the mechanical operation of the mail delivery vehicle involved. I have seen Terry follow common safety rules in his year of service in our neighborhood, so I clearly question the operational safety of the equipment. I am told that the delivery truck was immediately towed to the service center and repairs made to components that may have contributed to the accident. This to me is very questionable and certainly not ethical.

Please consider reinstating Terry. He doesn't deserve termination. He is a great mail carrier. He goes above and beyond and was part of our neighborhood. And he did his job with a smile whether it was 100 degrees or 20 degrees. We miss seeing him on our street.

Terry has served my home for many years, Not only has he faithfully and accurately delivered our mail he has always been congenial and caring. When our route is serviced by substitutes mail is frequently incorrectly delivered. Once a sub left import mail hanging from a mail box just before it rained. Terry would deliver mail too big for the mailbox to the door. I was able to retrieve it before it was damaged. Terry provides quality service that should be the hallmark of the USPS. Restore his position and route.

Terry is that rare individual who is caring, thoughtful and a wonderfully hard worker. He does not deserve to be treated this way.
