Keeping this facility intact means a controlled and safe environment for the sport. If it is lost, gravel pits and back roads become dangerous shooting galleries and a tragedy is the likely outcome.

Assurance of ongoing and future availability of facilities and accommodation for the shooting sports should be a given and financially assisted the same as other sports.

The rod and gun club gives people a safe place to hone their skills, Take that away and people will go out in the bush/ gravel pits and eventually someone will be injured or killed by a stray round. Having the range also keeps the litter of shell casings, and clay pigeons contained, keeping our outdoor areas more pristine. And lastly, the surrounding neighbourhoods don't seem to have a lot of Bear problems, as Bears don't like the sound of gunfire.

Rod and gun clubs are the heart of conservation.....! Get rid of them and get rid of youth conservation education.

The number of new shooters is increasing with the number of PAL holder topping 2 million, gun ranges are a important piece that fill a community, legal and safe training role.

Would be a shame to lose our facility and range. I was thinking time for a new clubhouse built by the Timber Kings. Now wouldn't that be awesome.

Not only is it a great community area but the historical value is priceless. Check the history before you decide to build more houses!!

it would make sense to to have the use of sound suppressors made legal most countries in europe and now the united states encourage the use to protect hearing and make the sport not so stressful for none shooters. why not here , there is no reason for rezoning or the noise

Support legal firearms use, Don't re-zone this area for the sake of it, and your community will become stronger because of it!

Safe places like a gun range are vital to communities, not only do they promote safe firearms practices but encourage people to be outside enjoying one of the fastest growing sports that can be enjoyed by the whole family
