It's an absolute disgrace that target shooting....such a deep seated part of Canadian history....is being stamped into the ground by various governments. If visible minorities were treated the way target shooters have been, the courts would be clogged solid with law suits, and the airwaves would be jammed with media personalities screaming about he outrage.

Legal hunting and target shooting keep a significant part of Canadian Heritage alive. As such I respectfully submit that all gun ranges in Canada be given the same level of protection as National Historic Sites.

Leave it alone there is more than enough land run down inner city to be redeveloped.

I have shot at the Terrace range 20 times. Where would the RCMP practice if they can't at this range? Sad.

This is a shooting recreational area that needs to be preserved.

People need safe places to shoot so some unsuspecting outdoors person doesnt get shot accidentally.

I have been a member of this club since 1980 and have been proud of the support our club has provided to other groups looking for an outdoor experience. We operate year round and provide safe and central training area for many government agencies and businesses,

The world doesn't need to be bulldozed for yet another subdivision, no matter how many kickbacks it might include. Taking away safe places to use firearms only guarantees that they will be used in less safe places. Or even unsafe places.

How sad that more land development threatens the people who spend the most time and money defending open spaces .

These ranges are important, not just for the adults but for our youth to learn fire arm Saftety and have a place to practice, as well as many great outdoor events.
