I grew up in Port Tobacco, Maryland. This is a disgrace to public office. I feel as though everyone that is a racist should see the movie, " The Best of Enemies " that just started at the Movie Houses through the US.

As a one of the Black constituents who make up 1/3 of her constituency, I don't trust her to represent us. What she said about the Black residents in PG was racist and deplorable. I can only imagine what she thinks about those of us in her own district. Forget resignation, I want her expelled.

Ms Lisant's remarks disqualifies her to represent residents in her county or any other one. They are ignorant, divisive and exclusive at a time when unification is sorely needed.

I grew up in Harford County. You’d be appalled at the type of statements people made...I could tell some stories. While the county is much more diverse than it used to be, there’s still plenty of racist reflex actions.

Shame on the citizens of PG for only having 187 signatures. This is the kind of showing that the white supremacsts have counted on. By the way, where does Senator Peters stand on this issue? He has won district 23 for a number of years.

Her words are based on “muscle memory “. These words don’t simply slip out without a thought. If you are a swearer, you swear without a second thought. This reflects her mindset and was fortunate that it was revealed to us the constituents and voters within the Great County of Prince George’s of the Great state of Maryland.

Governor Hogan, representative Lisante has to be relieved of her position. Individuals who harbor racist views should not be allowed to hold positions of power and authority. Thank you!
