Budget cuts should not affect the students when Mr. Chase is making more then the Govenor! It is a ridiculous misuse of tax payers money.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a school board made of members that are ALL proud to be part of Johnson County, no matter which town you live in? To work for the students and make sure every child has all the educational opportunities they want and even some that might further expand their minds. Let them become their very best!

This was voted on by the School board on January 15, 2018 . The vote was 5 to 4 not to renew Dr. Chase's contract with the School District. The Chairman of the School Board, Rich Hall had tried to get away with not presenting a petition from concerned citizens regarding Dr. Chase. When this was brought to his attention, he insisted on disregarding the concerns of the people of Johnson Co. and proceeded with the vote to renew Dr. Chase's contract. The vote did not go as planned, therefore a special School Board meeting has been called for this upcoming Monday, January 22 at 5PM (unclear if this will be open to the public). We live in America, let the people's voice be heard.

Administration has been an issue in Johnson County for quite some time. Let's fix it, and fix it right this time. Know who you are voting for. Maybe start with leader and then evaluate the others one at a time. One bad apple can ruin the whole barrel.

It is truly sad when our school district elected officials believe they do not need to be bothered with the concerns of the very people they are to represent. It shows that many on our school board really and truly do not care for the citizens they represent, thus they really don't care about the children, schools, and teachers within the school district they are making decisions about either. When the staff, faculty, and administration of our schools are working in fear who Dr. Chase will go after and try to terminate next, they are working in a hostile work environment that is bound to effect their ability to provide the best edcuation for the children in our county.

I feel strongly that Mr. Chase has and continues to be an ineffective leader for the Johnson County School District. He has utilized his authority to make unprofessional and ineffective decisions that will have longterm effects on our children and our community.
