Termination of Col. David Gee of Hampshire County Animal Control

He is abusive to all living things; including himself. All information I have is he is a drunk; I have yet to find a person willing to indicate he is not. I am very disappointed in the incompetence demonstrated by Hampshire County Officials because (1) they allowed the HCAC Shelter to be established on land they do not own (what???) and they don't have the chutzpah to remove him from office.....probably because the Shelter is on his land (how foolish). The officials in office now most likely did not create this situation but they should be held accountable for failing to correct it.

I called him about a stray dog. He put a noose around his neck, lifted him up, choking him violently. He then threw the poor dog as hard as he could into a cage on his truck. The dog hit the front of the cage and collapsed crying. I cried the rest of the day and vowed to never call him again.

I also had bad experience with this man. I would love to see him replaced!!!!!!!! He didn't care about the 3 adult dogs and 6 puppies that were left in a home for months that I called him about....he told me that I could shoot the dogs as long as I was 500 ft from another resident!!!! WHAT?????? I had called him for weeks prior to going up there myself...and found the mother and her babies had died and the other 2 adult dogs were in bad health. I took one in and the other one got a home with a friend. I demand him to be REMOVED!!!!!!!! I will testify against him I still have phone records of me calling.

We've had problems w him before he took our full blooded pomeranian and said he died but he was very healthy and know we have 2 full blooded huskys missing. ..

This man is abusive to the employees that work under him. He has ruled over animal control like it's his fiefdom. Time to end this.

An absolute nightmare, a complete disgraceach to the name of public official.

I reported an animal who was being staved and treated inhumanly. All he did was go in and have coffee with this person and left without even going around the house and looking at the condition of this poor dog. On another occasion I reported a stray that was obviously being mistreated and being used as a puppy mill for put bulls. The dig was returned to the owner!!!

I deeply resent that our tax dollars are used to compensate this man who appears incompetent. He should be terminated immediately as any counterproductive employee should be.

He needs to be removed and ASAP...He doesn't give a d*** about these animals! Actually he's quite scared of them...He's definitely in the wrong business! My uncles dog was accused of biting a neighbor a while back so they called AC and when he got here he made us load the dog up into the truck...what kind of sh*t is that?!

Hes really rude, and threatened to put my dog down because she barked for 4 minutes at a deer but never left the yard.

He needs to be removed from his duties, since he doesn't do his job . If you call him about animals, he will tell you to catch the animal and he will come out and get it in a few days ! Sorry but that's what he gets paid for .

I would personally love to see him terminated! He is almost the biggest asshole i have ever met, he's rude and thinks he runs hampshire county. He should love animals, and doesn't give two fucks about them.

He is just plain out worthless when it comes to taking care of animals..my dad and I have called so many times over a neighbors dog who is starving and continues to come on our property and eat our dogs food..He first said take pictures of the dog in your yard and I will handle it, so we did then called him he said he didn't want to see the pictures cause he wasn't happy with the way our dogs was being taken care of..said our dog shouldn't be n a dog box or on a collar..but it's Ok for a starving dog to continue to starve and him let it go..While he harasses people who takes care of there animals..He needs to go..I don't know why he has lasted this long he is rude and heartless
