I knew she would be an issue, due how she handles things at Southside. Never had issues with my son at school until he got there. I had to go to the school several times to speak with about how she favor the teachers, instead of listening to the students. Making bad calls, that could have made my students records look bad.

Went to talk to her on an issue, she completely dismissed me and made rude remarks. How are you a principle and can’t take the time of day to talk to one student.

Students at South Florence do NOT feel good about being ourselves. The girls of our school specifically the plus size girls are dress coded WAY more often than the smaller girls; and the smaller girls are dress coded for showing their belly buttons. Students are getting sexually assaulted and the ones doing the sexual assaulting are getting slapped on the wrist. It isn’t fair. And the bullying? Don’t even get me started with that. Kids get picked on for being openly part of LGBTQIA+, their weight, the color of their skin, etc. It’s WRONG. Our school does NOTHING about ANY of this. I lost a close friend of mine to SUICIDE and NOTHING was done for that said student. Meanwhile, our star athlete was given EVERYTHING. While he deserved it because he is/was very gifted, a kid is dead. A fellow bruin is dead. Mental health isn’t recognized AT ALL in our school. No one does anything until it’s too late.

Ever sense Josey left Wilson she has brought South Side and South Florence to hell. Her and some of the staff can go.
