I support this petition. Borrowers should be fully informed when permitting a mortgage or NOSI to be registered on title and unfortunately this appears to be severely lacking when lawyers are not involved.

Teraview should only allow to licensed and insured lawyers for any kind of registration. Most of the time notices of security interest are registered with signature of one of the registered owner and not all. No proper documents.

Far too many people learn that they have security interests registered against their house when important timelines of sale or mortgage have already been committed to. Delays and costs are caused by unresponsive companies with often improper registrations.

We face this problem as the time asking for a private mortgage Discharge as authorized Discharging entity/person is not regulated to enforce undertaking and furthermore insecurity of funds.
