The undersigned herewith urge both houses of the Tennessee General Assembly to register publicly the opposition of Tennesseans in the matter of federally-proposed amnesty for persons illegally residing in the United States. The “Tennessee Resolution Against Amnesty for Illegal Residents of the United States” is the manner in which our legislators are requested to champion the amnesty opposition of the citizens whom they represent.
