Call for Temporary Moratorium on New Homes in Corona

The traffic is to the point that I am looking to move. More homes = more cars. Please wait until the freeway work is complete before letting more homes be built.

When you allow corporations to enter a city and destroy housing, you should not allow more new home buildings. Our land is limited and the infrastructure is not up to date as it is. Adding new housing would hinder our already overtaxed systems.

Instead of more housing, we should be attempting to attract more businesses. This would generate revenue and provide the possibility of jobs closer to home for the thousands of commuters on our overburdened freeways.

We need more open space, not more homes.

We understand the City of Corona wants to generate revenue, and new home development is extremely lucrative. However, as a responsible city, it is your obligation to ensure the growth of new home development is acceptable with the current infrastructure. The apartment homes have multiplied over the last 2 years, needless to say, the traffic condition has worsen significantly. If the growth and development for our infrastructure are not increasing in a ratio that is acceptable to accommodate planned housing growth, then it would be criminal to ignore our request to pause housing development.

No more new homes, please, until roads can be made to accommodate even more traffic. Improvements on the 91 and 15 should be finished before a true study can be conducted. Thanks!

No more homes!

We need to stop building just because there is open land. We need to put the current residents first. The infrastructure, roads, schools, and water cannot support the mindless growth. . We need to stop Corona from annexing additional land just to build more homes. We need more businesses in Corona not more homes.

Enough is enough, schools over crowded not to mention traffic, crime and the already packed streets from existing construction

No more homes. We have enough for now. The new freeway expansion isn't even expected to be completed until 2017 and we don't even know what kind of impact that will do to the morning/evening commute.

Our city streets and freeways can't handle anymore traffic. Our schools and prisons are full. Our infrastructure needs attention before we can think about building more homes. There isn't enough water for the current homes located in Corona and Riverside.

We're on a stage 3 water shortage, yet more houses are being built, our high schools are overpacked with students and will be impacted more unless new schools are built and of course road construction is taking place throughout the whole city-please share your plans if you already have taken these points plus more into consideration.

More business less homes!!

Slow it down just a little, getting out of control.

Please, temporarily step back and choose the best direction for the citizens of this community!!

The housing development needs to slow down and I totally agree with and believe studies will help understand the impact these new homes have made.

I can't see how more homes can even be an option when traffic is as bad as it is. And where are all these new kids going to go to school? Please stop building on every plot of open land...what's left of the open space is one of the only things that makes it appealing.

Infrastructure and resident safety needs to come first.
