Williamson County Animal Center is nationally known for their rescue work with animals and their community of volunteers who work in all areas of rehab and adoption of many animals who are discarded through no fault of their own. Please allow them the extra space to expand by acquiring the Columbia State building. The educational opportunities available through animal rescue and rehab work done by the staff and volunteers at the WCAC are increasingly needed in our society. Thank you!

WCAC and the Williamson County Community need this facility to meet the demands of this rapidly growing county. WCAC has fast become a beacon to the surrounding counties for how to compassionately care for their animals and this can only continue if they are provided the resources to do so. County residents cannot expect their shelter to do right by the animals in the community if they don't give the resources to do so. No one is suggesting the animals are more important than high school students. We are saying that both are important and the resources can be allocated fairly between the two.

Non-educational sports vs saving cats and dogs. Seems like a easy choice to me.
