Please do not let this organization use this property as a supposed drug rehabilitation facility. If you do any research, you will find this group has a very poor success rate and in some cases can do more harm to the participants. It would be better to go with a reputable drug rehabilitation company with a vetted track record.

One of the councilmen told me that the bottom line is that the council must only vote on whether the property is historic or not and sady, I must agree based upon reading the laws and regulations on it. I am told that it's leaning toward NOT being historic. So please email the members srtating that they should not listen to lore and legend. Only facts about the property. And Vote NO!

Historic or non-historic, proposed use is NOT in the interests of the surroundings, natural and community.

This is not a clinically sound program and will not be regulated. Brainwashing is NOT treatment.

Hoover's fishing lodge is historic, and it is in Shenandoah National Park, so we can move right along. This property is quite lovely, but it is not historic and has not been preserved as historic.

A family member had experience with Narconon; staff lied to family members before & during their time there. Staff were not trained counselors but "graduates" of the program. A true cult-like environment.

No development in a resource conservation area critical to our clean water supply.

Frederick County just barely survived the Blaine & Company Commissioner Board. As it stands, the County is under seige by builders, tearing up the land and building houses without any concern for quality of life. Don't let us get robbed yet again.
