I think you need traffic to actually have one of these work! What a waste. There will be more accidents than ever and as usual will eventually be taken down. Research Clearwater, Florida.

Please fix the roads we have. The whole city and town need related. Store fronts need fixed and breaks for new businesses to come to down town. The collage can't have the whole city!!!!

Doesn't the city have better ways to spend money. Round abouts are a stupid idea. It will push drivers away from this route through residential neighborhoods

With the grant money, they should be making good choices on how to distribute the money. Want to restore Elmira downtown and now make it more inconvenient to get downtown.

Enough with these traffic circles. They are completely unnecessary (just like the maple avenue ones) and only create more confusing traffic patterns, disrupted parking for nearby businesses, and unsafe crossing for pedestrians. Elmira needs to spend money on restoring life to our downtown area by investing in improvements that will help the lifeblood of any thriving town...the local merchants! Stop trying to drive the few that remain away by frivolous grant spending.

We do not need this idiocy, what we need are businesses and jobs in the city of Elmira. The money wasted on this white elephant could be better spent in an attempt to lure business to the city. Where the hell do you people think we are, New Jersey ? You already screwed up Maple Ave, leave Main St. alone.

I think it's pretty lame that the city will do pretty much anything they can get grant money for. Its all about preservation of the City of Elmira DPW and code jobs. The city has too many employees and should really consider laying some off. One third of the City budget is benefits and retirement! They are out of control and need to be reigned in. Look what they did to Damonics!

Roundabouts don't work here in the US. Johnson City NY got rid of theirs, and Binghamton, NY made a huge mistake in their downtown putting one in. Use the money and fix the streets you have now.
