Why does it always take a petition to get REAL Justice???????? First the rabbits must be rescued and rehabilitated. ...and if not feral, only adopted to responsible people who can prove they know how to care for rabbits!!!! Tghe next obvious is the hoarder......fine her the max! and find a way to prevent her from ever having any animals in her "care"!

The most recent news article reports that 100 more rabbits have been seized because the first batch were diagnosed with syphilis, as well as having injuries from fights, earmites, etc. Dorota Trec does not know how to care for her animals and does not CARE. News reports quote her as saying that she will sue for the return of the rabbits. With such communicable diseases, poor housing, poor food, that would be a death sentance. If she is allowed to own rabbits again, this will happen over and over. She needs to be held responsible for the nearly 200 lives that were in her care, as well as for the ones that died, as there will surely be bodies in that area. She needs to be held accountable for the expenses incurred in saving these rabbits. She needs to be charged with cruelty for the conditions in which these rabbits lived... and died.
