Please free the delegates to vote their conscience.

Unbind our delegates by doing so you give us back hope in the Republican party. If you do not several will leave the party as it will no longer represent the majority.

For 160 (with the exception of the 1976 convention) Republicans have been free to vote their conscience. Please follow this historic precedence and allow the delegates to vote their conscience this year as well. Thank you, from a 36 year member of the Republican party.

Since becoming the presumptive nominee in May, his behavior has been an aberrant departure from the values and beliefs of the Republican Party. Through his arrogance and political chicanery, he has woven a distorted narrative that disqualifies him from public service at even the lowest levels! To put him in the position of becoming POTUS is a dangerous game to play and the possible outcomes are truly frightening. Please stop the madness and say NO to Donald Trump.

I have voted for every Republican Presidential candidate since Gerald Ford, and donated significant amounts in the past several cycles. I'm disgusted by the RNC's craven capitulation, led by Reince Priebus, to the petty fascism of Trump and his followers.

It is time to look in the mirror Republicans. Your time is now. Free the delegates!

Character matters.

I agree entirely with the contents of this petition and for the first time I will NOT be voting in a presidential election including down the list. If this is the GOP and the Democrats have swung so badly in that direction I have no party I can trust anymore.

From the day that Donald Trump threw his hat into the ring I figured he would be a disaster for the Republican Party. He would either become the Republican nominee or run as an Independent -- and either way he would cause havoc. I read that during the primaries the media gave Mr. Trump almost 2 BILLION dollars worth of publicity while giving Ted Cruz only 313 MILLION and John Kasich 14 MILLION. After the 1st debate they gave Donald Trump 26% MORE media time than ALL OF THE REST OF THE CANDIDATES COMBINED. How fair is that to the voting public to have one candidate get that much more press and air time than the others? And how fair can it be to the voters to hear so much about one candidate and (relatively speaking) hear so little about and from the other candidates? How much did the voters really know about the other candidates, and could they make a fair decision about who they really wanted to be our next president? But now that Donald Trump is the presumptive nominee how hard will the media go after him? There could easily be a lot in his background for them to use against him if he is the Republican Candidate. The questions I have are: Did the media effectively choose the Republican nominee by giving Trump so much publicity, because they never thought he could beat Hillary? And will they now "dump Trump" and go back to promoting Hillary? I see no way that I can in good conscience vote for Donald Trump. I think it is doubtful that he can win and even more doubtful that he would make a good President for our country.

If Trump is the nominee, I know of from our family's conversations, and belief's that we will walk from the Republican Party. As for myself, I have been a lifelong Republican since 1980 and voted for the greatest President our party has known in the later 20th Century: Ronald Reagan. I feel like Reince Preibus has let our party down by not effectively and succinctly conveying to Donald J. Trump of the Republican tenets in what we believe in and stand by as a party. In many campaign stances that Donald Trump has made, he has committed fraud by not standing by the Constitution and Bill of Rights, of which, he has openly admitted, he has not read. He has flipped on every campaign stance he's made and we wait everyday to hear what new outlandish message he utters everyday; Trump has caused great division among fellow Republican's and smeared other fellow Republican candidate's using hate-filled speech and threatening remarks to other voter's and delegate's. Trump has further alienated other races and cultures by inciting a Pandora's Box of Horrors that awaits them "IF" he is elected President. We have had enough of Obama's tactics and don't need or want and leader who incites violence and separation. He's fiscally going to throw our society into another Depression by high tariff's that he dared to uphold by aligning himself with what the Smoot/Hawley Tariff Act proposed. In the end of raising tariff's, it will be innocent American's who will once again pick up the cost. How would America be made great again by raising tariff's? Most of all, our party supports the definition of marriage between one man and one woman, not supporting any other Liberal agenda, as I've heard over the past year from Mr. Trump. I support the complete closure of Planned Parenthood. I don't want it opened for any reason, because those reasons will not be the one's that Planned Parenthood honors. Trump is not someone I feel comfortable with nuclear codes. He apparently doesn't know enough about

Please free the delegates to be able to accurately represent the Republican voters! Mr. Trump does not represent a majority of the Republican primary vote. 56% of the vote went to others. If we were able to take out large numbers of Democrat votes who voted in the open primaries, that percentage number would only get higher. The allocation of delegates did not match the peoples' vote to begin with, as in SC, where Trump received less than 40% of the vote but got 100% of the delegates! If Trump is on the ticket I will vote Libertarian regardless of the VP. He is a demagogue and a liar. Just when he takes a position I agree with he flips on it. He is unguided by any core principles other than what benefits him at the current moment. Dump this disaster that was elected by non-republicans voting in open primaries.

I will never vote for Trump or Republican again, for that matter, if he gets the nomination.
