It is the duty of every American of conscience to oppose this man's election to the Presidency, but it is the peculiar duty of members of the Republican Party to see that he does not stain the honor and dignity of the Party of Lincoln by gaining the mantle of its nomination for that office. No State government has the rightful power to compel the conscience of the voting delegates to a private organization such as the Republican Party and the Rules Committee of the GOP Convention should accordingly act to unbind their votes on the convention floor so that they are free to select a more qualified candidate to represent our Party on the national stage this November.

The thought of Donald J. Trump becoming the GOP nominee makes me psychically ill. The GOP has stood to defend and uphold the Constitution of the United States to make sure that every American citizen has their God given rights defended regardless of race, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation or political beliefs. This once great party stood against slavery and did not stop fighting until it was a thing of the past. The GOP has always stood to protect the nation and our allies from those who wish us harm and death. This is the party that has made sure that our brave men and women in uniform have everything they need to fight over seas and take care of them when they come home. This is especially important to my family and I because both of my grandfathers fought to protect this great nation with not a single reservation. One saw combat in Lebanon during Operation Blue Bat and the other in the jungles of Vietnam. Because of their scarafice this nation was kept safe and we are able to exercise our rights. Mr. Trump knows nothing of service or honor or even basic human dignity. While my grandfather was putting his life on the line in Vietnam, Mr. Trump was doing everything in his power to make sure he did not serve by getting draft deferments to live the high life while his fellow Americans were giveing their lives to protect his! Mr. Trump even suggested that Senator John McCain was not a hero because he was a prisoner of war for over five years in the most hellish place one could even conceive. He said he " preferred those who didn't get captured" because in his sick twisted mind, they were "losers". Mr. Trump is no Republican and he has made it clear for anyone with even a single brain cell to see. He has engaged in petty name-calling of other canidates in the GOP primary and even after. Trump is not qualified to run for POTUS, much less to serve as POTUS. Donald Trump is a vulgar, liar, slanderer, philanderer, Bible-ignorant, pseudo-Christian. He was convicted and paid a fine for doing business with the Mafia. He was the first to put strip clubs in casinos. Trump is a long-time close friend of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, He flew on Epstein's 'Lolita Express' along with Bill Clinton, and ate many times at Epstein's home IN HIS KITCHEN where close friends eat. Trump is also dangerously ignorant on domestic as well as international policy, has an unhealthy admiration for despots and tyrants, and praised China's brutal putdown of its peoples' peaceful protest in Tiananmen Square. Trump has never read the Constitution and stated that he never saw the value in it. He wants to limit free speech, the right to bear arms, and is on record saying he wants his ultra-liberal pro-partial birth abortion judge sister to become a SCOTUS justice!
