The delegates need to be able to vote their conscience. No tricks or shenanigans by the RNC will be tolerated. They will do so at the risk of ending the Republican Party. That, I can promise you.

Allow the delegates to use their knowledge and experience to make a good decision. Trump can't win the general election, and will drag down the party.

My Republican Party Registration Card is in one hand and a lit match is in the other hand. My decision hangs on the decision of this Rules Committee. I will never vote to give Donald Trump the Nuclear Launch Codes. Never.

The Republican Party must decide whether it is still a part of conscience or now a party of convenience like the Democrats. If it is the latter, then the GOP can no longer count on my support.

Not only is Donald Trump's political profile populist-progressive, which is the same as an an anti-trade, anti-free market, crony-capitalist liberal, but more importantly his psychological profile is egomaniacal-authoritarian-narcissist. This psychological profile does not lend itself to Trump governing as a benoevolent peacmaker and public servant but rather a tyrant and tin-pot dictator. Trump's default modus operandi is fear, threats, intimidation, and vengefullness. I have been an active Republican registered Republican since 1988. If the GOP leadership allows the party of Lincoln and Reagan to be hijacked by Donald Trump, than it is not my party. I and millions of others will dissasociate.

After 29 years of being a hardcore GOP supporter, I left the Republican party the night of the Indiana primary and became a register Libertarian. As long as Trump is the GOP nominee, I will vote for the Johnson/Weld ticket. If you do not act this weekend to save the GOP from Trump, NeverTrumpers like me will honor our promise and not vote for your candidate. I don't care who you would nominate instead; any of the other 16 candidates who ran would be better than Trump. So would Romney or Ryan. In fact, anyone would be better than Trump, even (and I never thought I would say this), even Hillary would be preferable to Trump. So show some backbone and prove that you care enough about the party to save it, or let Trump be your nominee and lose lifelong supporters like me for good. Your choice.
