For years I have been flying Southwest Airlines between Philadelphia and Ft. Lauderdale. Sometimes I would take as many as 4 flights in one year. My family lives in South Florida and I live in the Philadelphia area. And for all those years they offered plenty of options for non-stop flights on any given day that you wanted to fly to and from. Now, within the last year or so, they almost completely stopped non-stop flights between the two airports. You'll be lucky if you find even one. Of course, things have changed since I first started flying - I'm a mother. It's even harder to handle flying when you have to get off and change plans with a child or even if you're on a plane that you don't have to get off of but have a layover of a couple hours - what should take less than three hours total travel time now takes 5, 6, even 7 hours! Sign this petition to get Southwest to once again offer non-stop flights between Philadelphia and Ft. Lauderdale!!
