To prove that there is no discrimination, everyone should obey the same rules. “Reasonable accommodations” connotes a handicap. Do Muslims see themselves as handicapped or not up to the requirements of others?

I think that inasmuch as an elected official should be respected, they in turn should respect the limitations and requirements of the office. We would not tolerate Supreme Court Justices not wearing their official robes in court. Likewise business attire should be worn in the Congress. Not a hijab, not a fez, not a burka.
