this move to please 0.03 percent is reckless and frankly stupid--many locker rooms do not have separate stalls so ones safety and privacy are threatened--why is this president constantly allowed to do what he wants with no challenge --he is not king and someone should tell him that

Dear Mr. President.
You have daughters. And you of all people know how the law is taken out of context all of the time. This leaves the door open for any male to enter the girls locker room and we can't even question if they are really transgender?
And since when can you just day it's so...and it's so? How about the opinions, thoughts and votes of the Americans you serve?

Words cannot express my dismay and horror. Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for promoting love and kindness, but I feel like this is taking a step way too far. It sounds like a nice rule but legally there is no way of distinguishing if someone truly is claiming to be transgender! So if a boy student walks into a girls bathroom and starts harassing her she legally could do NOTHING to make him leave. How much worse in locker rooms when students are WAY more exposed than in the bathrooms?? There have already been reports of abuse after Target changed its policy so why would the school be any different? It is also disconcernting that the government is choosing to promote the transgender lifestyle. Do we REALLY THOROUGHLY know how deeply this will impact our children? This is such a drastic change that is bound to have serious psychological consequences. I feel a better way would be to promote that each child can find happiness the way they are born with who they are. It is also disconcerning that WE THE PEOPLE couldn't petition our congressmen on this issue. Mr. President you are overstepping your bounds.
