These sexist comments are completely unacceptable, for both sexes in today's world.

So disgraceful. It is sickening that your high-achieving, best-of-the-best female students are regarded in this way by their chancellor as they slog their guts out through five years and pay enormous fees for the privilege.
Men with these opinions either need to do some education on the topic and truly come to understand it, and advocate for change (through programmes that promote equality in the home so that women aren't put in the position of shouldering way more than their share of family life) or he should step down if he can't grasp that he's assessing this by-product of sexism through a sexist lens. Subconscious bias will already be contributing to negative outcomes for women as it does in all organisations. Having overt bias like this at the top is unacceptable.

I completely agree with the summary of this petition. This article is offensive in so many ways. I am grateful for this collective voice to have arisen.

I have already sacrificed so much for this degree and I have two years yet to go. It is hurtful and appalling to me that the head of the university has such a bleak view of myself and my classmates, when we are giving our all to this profession.

Very disappointed in Chris Kelly's sexist remarks. Totally belittles the female gender and how hard we work to be where we are today. He needs to be held accountable for making such narrow minded and utterly disgraceful comments.
