The poultry industry on the Delmarva Peninsula is an essential part of many communities. The proposed bills would do irreparable harm to many whom count on this industry for a living.

Chicken farms constantly need to be upgraded . People have a lot invested. Please reconsider this bill.

These bills are nonsensical and totally unnecessary. The already over regulated chicken farmers and potential chicken growers have a proven record of environmental stewardship. They are family farmers. What’s next? Regulating the size of every other farm or business. Give it a rest. We need unfavorable votes on these bills. This message from an unemployed Wicomico County citizen.

My 45 year career and now my son's employment depends on a viable poultry industry. Please do not put our livelihood at risk due to the misguided SB 841 and HB 1312. Thank you.
