Please open small boutique fitness centers. We are able to social distance and take COVID precautions that larger gyms cannot do as easily just because of sheer numbers. Please consider opening small studios. Thank you!

Small studios with one on one training should not be categorized with large gyms.

We have a very small town and our small businesses cannot be in a category of businesses in larger cities and outbreaks. We have 3 cases of C19 in our entire county. Thank you :)

It's a free country. We have the right to make our decisions about our health. This business offers exactly what people need to stay healthy. Time to stand up and fight against having our rights stripped from us.

Please let them open. The class size is never more than 10. Now they have made it accommodate even less. They have set up strict guidelines back on May. None of which I’m thrilled about. Older woman attend Pilates MN. We all need this. They incorporate PT into Pilates. Also, I’m sure their Wayzata rent is very high. Don’t let them go out of business. Run my amazing family. Best run business I’ve come across in a long time if ever.

Trust the citizenry. You serve them, not the other way around.

Boutique gyms are best positioned to safety open. The small numbers, appointment based business, better control over numbers, etc can provide a safe training environment for their clients. Our clients are family, a very tight knit group and needing us as fitness professionals to help them stay healthy( both physically and mentally).

I feel gyms should open if they follow the regulations of the other businesses that were allowed to open. People need this desperately as a stress relief both physically and mentally.. Thank you for your consideration!

Pilates MN is a small boutique studio with an exceptional plan to reopen safely. I am in the healthcare field and am very impressed with their plan. They can not be grouped in with large corporate franchise gyms. One size does not fit all!

We will be losing our small businesses at alarming rate if we continue with this lockdown. Our very economical soundness depend greatly on small independent business. This lockdown without common sense decisions will have a great impact on our ability to retake our greatness to provide for ourselves, our families, and even help other nations in their time of needs as well. We must open up the economy before it is too late to heal financial as a nation. These small businesses have laid out a plan that is sensible and well thought out, it’s time to let them open up.

Fitness Boutique are NOT the same as giant health clubs and gyms! They are small family-owned businesses that add vitality to our communities. Governor Tim Walz, you need to look more closely at these operations to understand the differences and allow them to open!
