Governor Hochul, it is of utmost importance that you enact S7864b/A9307 so that the South Nassau Water Authority can move forward with its acquisition of Liberty Water. You have helped others on Long Island, but why not us, too? You know that many people are struggling at this time and these extremely high, unfair water bills are not helping. People are moving out of New York because of the high cost of water that we cannot afford anymore. Water is a right, not a privilege. You were elected because you want to do what's right for all New Yorkers and what would be right is for you to that you enact S7864b/A9307 so that the South Nassau Water Authority can move forward with its acquisition of Liberty Water. Water should not be so outrageously expensive, as it is for us now. We should all be treated the same. You did the right thing for some Long Islanders and now it is only right that you do the right thing for the rest of us by enacting this now. We really need your help! Governor Hochul needs to enact S7864b so that the South Nassau Water Authority can move forward with its acquisition of Liberty Water. We need this done now in order to stop us from paying to much for water. We need public water now!

Governor Hochul: It is imperative that you sign the bill that will fund the South Nassau Water Authority. Establishing this authority will stop the inequities endured by residence of the south shore in the current cost of water.
