Even with Asian Pacific Americans (APA) showing their purchasing power with their support of Jeremy Lin, media outlets including ESPN and Fox continue to show that they'll tolerate racism - if it's against APA's. On 2/10, FoxSports reporter Jason Whitlock (http://yhoo.it/A1X1lk) decided it was fine to make his "Some lucky lady in NYC is gonna feel a couple inches of pain tonight," Lin joke on Twitter. On 2/17, ESPN posted the story "Chink in the Armor" in regards to the Lin (http://yhoo.it/AAgrZs). Both Whitlock and ESPN apologized. So what. Remember when ESPN fired Limbaugh after this comment about Donovan McNab (http://bit.ly/go7VLy)? Or when they suspended Bob Griese (http://aol.it/ztBVmQ) for his comments regarding Hispanics? Why hasn't anyone been fired for the ESPN and CNN incident? When was the last time someone in media was fired for making derogatory remarks about APAs? Why do APA's continue to get treated as second class citizens? Please sign this petition to demand that ESPN and FoxSports gets serious and FIRES people. After all, if it were just about any other ethnic or religious group, ESPN and FoxSports would fire them.

Seriously? How is that still allowed in mainstream media. Fix this.

Enough is enough. They would never get away with saying that crap about any other group. ESPN needs to stop with the double standards and hold their own people accountable for once.
