We - as Jews, Zionists, and Israelis who are proudly lesbian, sapphic, WLW and/or queer and our allies - are speaking out against Dyke Day's decision to platform and condone antisemitism. Dyke Day LA has not only endorsed and amplified the violent and bigoted rhetoric of others, but also embraced this rhetoric themselves, up to and including calling Zionist Nazis. They have repeatedly refused to take action with regards to their words and choices or those of the organizations they support despite repeated requests by queer Jewish members of their community. We wish to register our disappointment that Dyke Day and its affiliated organizations - which we have long supported with our voices, time, and money - have refused to keep us safe, despite Dyke Day's claims to support "community care, intersectional respect, inclusive spaces, non-violence, and collective responsibility."

I’m not Jewish but I am an ally. As a gay man myself I am disgusted with the amount of rainbow anti Semitism I have seen.

Jews have always been a part of progressive movements and queer spaces. The idea of only being welcome if we are “the right kind of Jew” goes directly against the atmosphere of acceptance and inclusion that the queer community has always worked hard to foster. Division during pride needs to be set aside. We are stronger together.

Imagine a "pro LGBT" movement that hates the only country in the Middle East that grants asylum to gay Muslims that would've been murdered in their own home countries. What a joke

I thought Dyke Day was inclusive.. I actually looked and saw no mention of Israel or Palestine on their IG and was feeling grateful.. up until now..

It’s not okay that it’s not a safe space for Jews. This is supposed to be an inclusive space for all in the queer community. Israel has a right to exist. The hateful rhetoric has been escalating to the point that people are openly claiming that Israel (and Jews) should not exist. This is not okay. Do better. Stand by your words to be inclusive.

Dyke day hosts antisemitism and invited and insights violence towards Zionists aka Jews. They lie and parade they love Jews, showcase that everyone’s equal, all while hosting events under dyke day that show and exhibit hate and threaten Zionists, at PUBLIC parks. They should be FINED by the city of Los Angeles

Queer events should be open to all queer people, regardless of ethnicity or religion.
