The Godden family have for years benefited from the largesse of the people of East kent. Their contribution to Folkestone has been the wasteland below the Leas. It is no surprise that they continue to take from Folkestone. Their actions lie in stark contrast to De Hann who has spent so much to try and revitalise Folkestone. The Goddens should hang their heads in shame.

Such a shame it has been removed. So many local businesses have benefitted through the influx of visitors to the town to see it. As usual the Godden empire taking something away from the town which made them their millions in the first place.

The Godden family should hang their head in shame, they want the people of Folkestone to support thier fundraising events, but why should we when to quote "they dont care what the people of Folkestone want, if they want Folkestone support they should respect what Folkestone people want.

Banksy says on his official site "As a kid I always dreamt of growing up to be a character in Robin Hood. I just never realised I'd end up playing one of the gold coins". Does that really sound like someone who whats his works of artremoved and sold to the highest bidder. Art should be shared, I understand the Goddens frustration regarding the art being vandleised but in that case ask for help don't remove a work of art that could make a difference to the area

Something good happens to Folkestone and it's literally carved out and sold off elsewhere.

Selling the gift to Folkestone typifies the behaviour of this family, and the sad thing is that according to the representative who spoke on behalf of the family he said they don't care!
