Tell Congressman D'Esposito to Hold a REAL Town Hall Meeting
We, the people of your congressional district, demand that you hold a REAL town hall meeting to provide an opportunity to voice our concerns.
The last two so-called "TeleTownHall" meetings were a sham! Only participants hand-picked by you were called upon to speak. It was obvious that you were merely reading prepared answers to soft-ball questions written to give you a platform to regurgitate GOP fear-mongering rhetoric. By doing so, you effectively silenced the voices of the majority of your district. This format is more typical of an autocracy, than a democracy.
Perhaps, such a sham should not be surprising coming from the party of George Santos and Donald Trump. However, the people of this congressional district in this United States of America, will not sit back and be silent. Your predecessor held regular public town hall meetings. We expect you to do the same!

The teleconferences are still just scripted theater and they ignore the real questions we send. Email the district office right now to demand a public venue where we can face our representative directly. Tell others to do the same if you want to see a genuine meeting happen.

The momentum behind this call for transparency proves that our district is finished with scripted tele-tows. Call the Congressman's office today and demand that he schedule an in-person meeting. Post this link on your Facebook page and ask your neighbors to do the same.

Yes! He is supposed to do what his constituents want. I am so tired of his computer generated form letter replies to my requests that he take particular stands on important issues.
I also was on the telecom. No questions of real substance were taken. Ex: Gun violence is a threat to our children and families. Twice asked about that never answered.
Keep guns off the street
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! Ban assault weapons!! Nobody needs them!!
Thoughts and prayers just aren’t enough to stop the carnage caused by our almost daily mass shootings. The second amendment does not guarantee the right to own automatic weapons! It is time for some common sense gun laws. It’s time to stop the bleeding!
The vast majority of your constituents support banning assault weapons. Serve your constituents and not the NRA

Congressman, please note the “WE” in “we the people” and conduct INCLUSIVE town hall meetings. UNITED we stand…divided we fall. Make room for DIVERSE viewpoints so all who wish to express themselves can be heard. And, be an example to our children, that we can PLAY FAIR. They’re watching us…
