I’ve seen Lolly work hard for the community as well as Elders I worked for, her talent is unforgettable and is well respected throughout the region. Where are her supporters? Right here in Dillingham, and Dillingham will not let it rest until something is done. Where are her coworkers? Are they sticking up for her right now? No they are being quiet, are they to blame? Why did they let this happen, just sit back and watch and did not protest to keep her here. We’ll fight for you Evelyn Olsen!

A rapid turnover in any organization could indicate that perhaps that organization needs to look at the management team. I think a thorough investigation is merited. When we see dedicated workers, who have shown great care to the patients, being ousted by either termination or resignation, it interrupts the quality of continuous care that patients need. I like seeing health professionals that know me, my medical history, and don't give me the in-and-out treatment that new hires start off with. It can take years for new hires, and those who do not understand our culture, to treat native people with the dignity they deserve.

Dr. Evelyn Olson is a great pharmacist. Not only that but she is from right here in Dillingham. She is right at home here in Bristol Bay. Any one you bring here would only stay long enough to full fill a contract and go away to a bigger town they are comfortable with.
Please put Dr Evelyn Olson back on your team with the pharmacy st the Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation. Let her work with the community that she was born in and raised.

If you ever read BBAHC minion statement that used to be posted, care for they're patients was number 3 I believe number one was the financial stability of the hospital,

This is for Patty too! She was extremely happy with her care from all medical staff at BBAHC! She wasn’t one with little words and if she was here someone would be getting a chewing!

It is imperative to create a culture of respect for individuals professions, empower their strength and encourage growth where needed. Retain local professionals who have returned home to give back to their communities.

All employees deserve due process, a staple of fair-minded democratic societies. I remember when that language was removed from BBAHC policy just a few years ago. These people are not just employees- they are devoted professionals committed to the health and well-being of this community, specifically this community. That community includes the very people responsible for this abuse of power, these firings. This community is already underserved due to lack of resources, so many people hurting and need of more than we provide. Making the situation even worse by your own hand, though, is a special kind of wrong-mindedness. I also remember another mass firing of essential community professionals a few years back. It seems the system is still sick. Individuals with the power choose when to make it well, or they have to be forced to. Politics and power plays have no place within health care or education, where the quality of people's lives are at stake. Please reinstate these beloved professionals and re-build the decision making process at BBAHC so it acts in the interest of those whom they are in place to serve.

As a former BBAHC employee, I am saddened and frustrated to hear of the recent management decisions that have resulted in the forced resignation or unwarranted firing of highly skilled, fully qualified, and deeply passionate employees in the pharmacy department. Please ensure that the health corporation serving the entire Bristol Bay region is truly representative of the mission you so boldly claim - to 'provide quality healthcare with competence and sensitivity.'

There must be a better way to mediate issues than to fire important staff or admin to act in such ways that force good people to quit. #wearebetterthanthis

We stress and try to teach our kids like our parents did. We get so proud when I see home grown kids go to school and get their degree and come back and give back to our elders
