As an RN, MSN I completely agree with the need to decrease exposure not only for the patient but for the providers as well. In addition; I am immune compromised due to Sarcoidosis diagnosis and do not want more exposure than absolutely necessary.

I’ve been battling recurrent lymphoma for 10+ years and suffer from debilitating chronic pain as a result. I’ve tried a myriad of prescription pharmaceutical medications over the course of the last decade with little success. And, although I now find myself in a position where medical marijuana is likely my last opportunity for relief, as an immunocompromised cancer patient the exposure associated with traveling to obtain certification creates unacceptable risk. I firmly believe that existing law should be amended to allow qualifying patients to certify online, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. This just makes sense.

We are legitimate patients with legitimate Medical conditions. We deserve the same rights and treatment as every other AZ patient.

I tested positive for Covid and can not go to the physical location. My card has expired and I need to get another. I am currently stuck. I won’t put people in harms way by going into the office, but the only way to get my card back is to go into the office. I’m at a catch 22 and a stalemate. Again I won’t jeopardize a large # of people’s health over my own. I am now without a card and almost feel penalized and punished for testing positive for Covid.

Medical Marijuana Certifications and card approvals should be able to be accessed to everyone, including those patients that cannot make office visits, are to be allowed thru a portal, and have the opportunity to be able to obtain medical card on-line. Disabilities should not hinder proper medical treatment!
