Cancel it! It's making some teens think it's OK to get all freaky with random guys and end up messing up their vagina by pushing out some kid in the end! And this is coming from a female teenager!

You guys need to stop putting this drama show that have no real purpose.

MTV's shows Teen Mom, Teen Mom 2, and Teen Mom OG (the last is a spin-off/continuation of Teen Mom with the first 4 original girls) are deplorable! These girls are being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to appear on the show and a few of the girls have suffered with drug addictions which they used their money from the show to pay for their drug habits. Some of them have drank and smoked through their pregnancies even! While I enjoy good reality tv programming, the creators, producers, and camera operators of the Teen Mom franchise should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this kind of behavior to go on even while filming and being witness to some of the most awful living conditions of the children! Their portrayal of what it's like to be a real teen mom is unrealistic since they don't have to struggle financially. There have been MANY instances in which CPS should have been involved, but were not because it was a decision that needed to be made by producers who are too selfish to lose this cash cow of a show. There have been many teens interested in becoming pregnant for the sake of the fame this show could possibly give them. Fame is selfish if it's going to be putting the life of an innocent child at risk. I urge everyone to sign this petition to have MTV's Teen Mom franchise shut down for good to stop this unrealistic depiction of teenage parenthood!

This is the absolute LAST show I would ever recommend for a teenager to watch, because, this show rewards these children for their bad behavior and that's right, I still consider teenagers or even anyone under 25 children. This show makes it look all fun and glamorous for a teenager to have sex and get pregnant. Including this show, I don't recommend MTV for anyone especially for anyone under the age of 25, because, the brain doesn't fully mature until the age of 25. Actually, nobody PERIOD should be watching MTV, because, most people 25 and older shouldn't even be WANTING to watch MTV in the first place. Here's my attitude towards MTV "24 is too young and 25 is too old", Even though every show on MTV is garbage, but, Teen Mom and Real World are the two worst of the worst shows on MTV.

Needs to stop, it's about girls who don't work, just keep getting pregnant and married and divorced. They need to live in the real world and get JOBS, like true teen mothers!

It is exactly what the grievance describes, The following is basicly teens who have grown up with these girls and keep watching and don't learn anything, the shows lesson has swerved from the first seasons intent of lessons. I feel like the show been on for so long. They are not teen's anymore and got more than one kid so theres really no point of keeping the show. They are normal people. People go through kids and pregnancy everyday/every year. So its not different that they have this girls on tv.

The shows are so far removed from discouraging teen pregnancy and instead are now glorifying teen pregnancy and having babies with multiple men. There is no education at all re:birth control or safe sex.

Teen Mom should be cancelled. No one has a real job living off MTV salaries. Mostly all have kids from multiple guys. Most all if they didn't have the money they couldn't live the lifestyles big homes, pools, cars,weddings, drugs and fancy trips. Stop supporting them and they lose everything!

MTV is profiting off of teen pregnancies, glamorizing and encouraging, promoting young girls “not women” who are very impressionable and not capable of making adult decisions believing they could get famous, by showing its “cool” thing to do this is how you get on TV!! This show is absolutely Repulsive! Every time I see a commercial I get nauseated. Grotesque how MTV is soliciting children for greed and profit, it the era of ‘‘ME TOO” building girls up to be successful, independent, educated women they are basically trafficking children!

This is not productive in preventing teen pregnancies. Not only, does the Teen Mom franchise award young parents with big paychecks and vacations but, in many ways they make it look like having a baby at a young age is not difficult and that you can still build your dream home, drive your dream car, have your dream wedding and travel. Theses teens are all of a sudden famous and when the show first started I felt like it was for the right intentions. To show the difficulties of not just being a "Teen Mom" but, a teen dad as well. It showed the day to day struggles of a young lady being pregnant and her boyfriend still wanting to go out. It showed the difficulties with finances and how the young couples were clueless as to what it would be like to raise a child. It was informative when the show shared Caitlyn's story with us and their open adoption. The show didn't focus completely on the young couple but, their families and how they took the news and adjusted. It tackled issues of drug/alcohol use, cheating, and abuse. Now, there are so many shows about teen moms and the original girls. It's gotten out of hand. It started off being pretty realistic but, now it's like "The Real Mom's of MTV." ( pun to Real Housewives Franchise) it's a joke and has gone way off topic. These girls are celebrities and living lavish lifestyles that you pay for. You're sending the message to the younger generation it's ok to be young and have a baby. It won't be hard. Just look at out cast of moms. They were all your age once and look at them now. That's not the message you want or intended to send out. It's time to take this show off the air. Doesn't prevent teen pregnancy. I find it now encourages it.
