I am in favor of the removal of the toll barrier. They make the commute to Grand Island a stressful one. Merging after you pay the toll is always a challenge.

There could be things done to alleviate some of the problem. More EZpass only lanes, no trucks in the left lane, minimum speed limit (summer), ticketing drivers who slam their brakes on at the top of the bridge, etc.

Time to take out this residential punishment for monetary charges without accountability. It's overdue. Originality the toll was intended to pay for the bridges construction. That was around 50yrs ago. Where does that money go?

Living on the SE corner of GI I am very concerned for my family and the pollution associated with this bridge. Let a lone the time wasted for me just to go to my home.

These tolls should have been removed Years ago. It is long over due. While we are at it why not Abolish "The NYS Thruway Authority" and make it part of "NYS DOT"

My mom lives in GI and its annoying having to pay a dollar just to go see her for a couple of hours, not to mention going to work in Buffalo, it adds up

People who work, want to visit relatives or friends .. want to go to Buffalo shouldn't have to pay to travel within the WNY area!!!
It's creates traffic problems and accidents as well. Especially in the winter.
